SIMI is a SwissUK™ Education Group that integrates the premium Swiss private higher education excellence with United Kingdom Government-recognised qualifications.
These Terms and Policy (“Terms”) govern the relationship between SIMI Education Group (“SIMI”, “we”, “us”, “our”), its managed entities including but not limited to the Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI Swiss), UK eUniversities (UKeU), TVET UK, Swiss Diploma, eUni Switzerland, Polytechnic Switzerland, StudyAbroader, and any individual (“student”, “user”, “you”, “your”) accessing or participating in our programmes, services, platforms, or affiliated activities.
By applying to, enrolling in, or accessing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
SIMI Education Group operates private, international higher-education and training organisations. Qualifications awarded within the Group may include:
- Swiss Private Degrees issued by SIMI members, or
- UK Government-regulated qualifications awarded by partner awarding bodies or universities, or
- Dual/Joint award systems according to partnership agreements.
In accordance with international practice and the legal characteristics of the Swiss private higher-education sector, the recognition of qualifications depends on the regulations of each jurisdiction and the discretion of receiving institutions or employers. SIMI does not guarantee recognition or automatic recognition in any country, by any authority or organisation, whether public or private.
All academic decisions (admission, progression, assessment, graduation) are made solely by SIMI Education Group members, and/or partner awarding bodies.
Local partners may provide support but do not interfere in academic decision-making.
Students must:
Provide truthful and accurate information
Meet the entry requirements
Comply with institutional regulations and ethical standards
Maintain good academic integrity and conduct
SIMI EG member reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission and/or qualification if fraud, dishonesty, or misconduct is identified.
The members of SIMI Education Group deliver programmes and services using multi-modal delivery methods, including but not limited to:
- Live Class online delivery, enabling synchronous teaching and interaction;
- Blended or in-person learning conducted through approved learning facilities and teaching locations; and
- Full-time study at SIMI campuses or SIMI-conjunction campuses, where available.
Such facilities may be owned and operated by SIMI Education Group members or utilised under cooperation or partnership agreements. Access to facilities may be limited or subject to restrictions based on programme requirements, operational capacity, health and safety regulations, and local compliance obligations.
All content, academic schedules, delivery modes, and related services may be updated, modified, or replaced at the discretion of SIMI Education Group to ensure continuous quality improvement, regulatory alignment, and adherence to accreditation or partnership standards.
Programmes delivered by members of SIMI Education Group are subject to tuition fees, levies, and administrative charges, which must be paid in accordance with issued invoices and the applicable financial policies of the delivering institution.
Refunds, where eligible, are processed in accordance with the relevant Refund Policies applicable to each programme and delivering member.
Certain services, including but not limited to dual-award arrangements, graduation ceremonies, academic recognition services, document issuance, or programme change requests, may incur additional charges.
Members of SIMI Education Group maintain continuous internal and external quality assurance processes and comply with the legal requirements governing Swiss private higher education, as well as international accreditation and partnership standards.
Policies, documents, academic structures, and operational procedures may be revised or updated without prior notice where necessary to ensure compliance and ongoing improvement.
Personal data is collected and processed by the relevant members of SIMI Education Group solely for operational, academic, administrative, and legal compliance purposes, in accordance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.
Disclosure of personal data to third parties will only occur where required by lawful authority or for essential security or compliance purposes.
All academic materials, platforms, systems, media, publications, and branding used or provided within SIMI Education Group programmes are the intellectual property of SIMI Education Group or its licensors.
Unauthorised copying, distribution, reproduction, modification, or commercial use of such property, beyond personal study and research, is strictly prohibited. The delivering member reserves the right to take disciplinary and/or legal action in cases of infringement.
Students must comply with all safety and security standards when participating in activities at any SIMI Education Group member facility or authorised partner site.
Access to campuses, offices, or operational facilities may be controlled or restricted due to safety regulations, operational requirements, or partnership limitations. SIMI Education Group does not guarantee unrestricted access to all facilities at all times.
Only full-time students are eligible to use on-campus facilities, and such access is limited to areas expressly designated for student use. For security and safety purposes, only full-time students and their immediate family members may be permitted to enter campus, subject to prior approval and compliance with visitor protocols. SIMI Education Group and its members reserve the right to deny access to any visitor who does not meet safety, identification, or compliance requirements.
While members of SIMI Education Group may provide qualifications aligned to international education and competency frameworks, recognition of qualifications remains subject to the regulations of each jurisdiction and the discretion of receiving authorities, employers, or institutions.
Students are solely responsible for verifying recognition requirements prior to enrolment, including the compatibility of qualifications with their intended professional or academic pathways.
SIMI Education Group and their member disclaims any responsibility for recognition decisions outside its legal jurisdiction or beyond its reasonable control.
This statement forms a mandatory part of the transparency policy of SIMI Education Group and its members. It is intended to ensure full disclosure of qualification characteristics at the point of entry, safeguard student rights, and reflect SIMI’s ethical commitment to clarity, integrity, and quality in education—particularly in accordance with the distinctive nature of the Swiss private higher-education sector.
All members of SIMI Education Group uphold equality, diversity, fairness, and academic freedom, and do not discriminate on the basis of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, political ideology, or any legally protected characteristic.
Students, partners, and associated parties must refrain from:
- Providing false, misleading, or defamatory statements;
- Engaging in unfair competition; or
- Acting in any manner that may damage the reputation of SIMI Education Group or its members.
In cases of violation, SIMI Education Group reserves the right to initiate corrective measures, including legal action where necessary.
SIMI Education Group may amend these Terms at any time.
Amendments take immediate effect for new agreements and apply to existing agreements where required for compliance or where deemed more favourable to users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Canton Zug, unless otherwise required under applicable regulations or specific awarding-body agreements.
By applying, enrolling, accessing, or continuing participation in any programme or service delivered by a member of SIMI Education Group, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Policy.
