Swiss Information and Management Institute
The Swiss Truly International Higher Education Institute
Information and Management are among the most in-demand professional domains in the world — and stand as the strongest sectors in Zug, Switzerland’s thriving hub of technology and home to leading European enterprises.
The Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI Swiss) is proud to be the first higher education institute in Zug specialising in these two critical fields, and to be fully standards-aligned as Switzerland’s Truly International™ HEI.
SIMI Swiss delivers SwissUK™ dual-recognised programmes — where the prestige of Swiss private education meets the trusted employability of UK Government-recognised qualifications. Supported by respected international accreditations such as ASIC (UK), Ofqual UK.Gov awarding bodies, HEAD, and ISO 21001:2018, SIMI Swiss holds strong recognition in the professional marketplace.
The SwissUK Dual Recognition Model
SIMI Swiss is not a local HEI — it is a truly international higher education institution, combining the excellence, prestige, and sophistication of Swiss private education with the trusted recognition of the UK Government.
While Swiss private degrees are highly respected in the professional and corporate world, UK Government-recognised qualifications under the RQF framework and regulated by Ofqual open academic pathways and further study opportunities worldwide.
With the integration of National Occupational Standards (NOS), SIMI Swiss learners gain a powerful triple advantage:
This means graduates do not just hold respected qualifications — they are able to confidently demonstrate their capability and value in both employment and higher-education environments, where gaps often exist between what a degree says and what a graduate can do.

Accreditation
SIMI Swiss exceeds Switzerland’s accreditation requirements.
Under Swiss law, private and international higher education institutions like SIMI Swiss are not required to obtain national accreditation in order to operate or award their own qualifications.
However, SIMI Swiss does not view accreditation as a marketing tool — but as a continuous quality-improvement mechanism that enhances learning outcomes in every lecture, every assessment, and every academic decision.
For that reason, SIMI Swiss pursues respected international accreditations and Swiss Federal memberships, including:
